Nurturing Your Retreat With Sustainable Nutrition

Dining With Dietary Restrictions at Drala Mountain Center
While Drala Mountain Center’s Nourishment Team works hard to make sure everyone can access high quality, delicious, and nutritious food while on retreat, that can be more challenging for individuals with dietary restrictions and allergies.
To help retreatants choose healthy and safe foods for them, the Nourishment Team lists common allergens on all menus, including:
- Gluten,
- dairy,
- soy,
- shellfish,
- nuts
Note: Allergens are listed when knowingly added to a given recipe or menu option. However, we do not guarantee that there is no cross contamination or that allergens are not present when not listed.
We highly recommend that individuals with dietary restrictions, including but not limited to low-histamine diets, nightshade allergies, or allium allergies (onions, garlic, and related vegetables and spices) bring their own food to supplement the offerings at Drala Mountain Center.
In addition to participant-provided food, Drala Mountain Center is able to provide pre-cooked unseasoned animal protein, vegetables, and rice upon advanced request.
